Co-Reg Complete Will Become RegReady In 2008 PDF Print E-mail
2008 will bring an exciting change to Co-Reg Complete.  As many of you already know, Co-Reg Complete will be re-branded as RegReady and will be managed by Gold Lasso.  In addition, the business model of the service will change.  Currently, most users of the service are both publishers and advertisers allowing co-registration advertisements to be placed on your website in exchange for co-registration submissions from partner websites.  Although this barter system was efficient, it didn’t enable the true potential of the service to attract the best advertisers for the best price.

Starting in the beginning of 2008, RegReady publishers will be able to earn top dollar for every co-registration submission in conjunction with the ability to manage the types of advertisers they are willing to allow to bid for placement on their website.   The new co-registration process will work almost identical to the Co-Reg Complete system with a few exceptions to the number of co-registration advertisements that will be allowed to be displayed during a given time.  RegReady publishers will also be required to update their profile in the partner finder directory to include additional information about their website.  RegReady publishers will receive a percentage of the gross income generated from every co-registration submission their website generates.

For Example:
John Doe comes to your website and decides to register.  After he registers he is presented with ten co-registration ads.  Advertisers bid $2.50, $2.25, $2.00, $1.75, $1.50, $1.25, $1.00, $0.75, $0.50 and $0.25 respectively for all ten placements.  If John Doe decides to opt-in to all ten ads then you will receive a percentage of $13.75.

Commission percentages will be based on a monthly volume sliding scale which will range from 15% to 50%.  This commission scale will be available at a later date.  Minimum bid amounts are determined by the number of data fields a co-registration form produces such as email address, first name, last name, physical address, etc. multiplied by $0.25.  Odd fields are not counted such as a customer number or something unique to your organization.

In addition to the new Publisher section of RegReady, we will also be adding an Advertiser section.  Unlike the current Co-Reg Complete system where users have to be both publishers and advertisers, RegReady users can be either publishers, advertisers or both reflecting a true market environment.  Advertisers will be allowed to submit bids for co-registration placement on publisher websites and change their bids at will.  Publishers can approve advertisers only, as the dollar amounts of bids are blind.  Advertising placement goes in bid order where the top bid receives the first placement in the co-registration form and the rest follow up to ten placements.  In addition, RegReady advertisers will be able to set budgets limiting their financial risk and only bid on placements that match their target markets.

Over the next couple of months I will be keeping you apprised of our progress as well as new developments that may arise.  In the meantime, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.  With your help, I am confident RegReady will become the ultimate co-registration network providing a transparent marketplace for publishers and advertisers.  In the meantime if you have any questions please feel free to call me directly.

Sincerely,
